My name is Buffy D. Boura, and I am so excited to be the principal of Golden Meadow Upper Elementary. I am a graduate of South Lafourche High School (1991) and Nicholls State University (1995 & 2001). I earned a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies and a Master's Degree in Education. I also have Plus 30, Reading Specialist Certification, and Administration Certification from NSU. I an married to Frank Boura and together we have two daughters, Seddy Marie and Lexxy Jane. It truly is an honor for me to be here at GMUE, because this is the school where my teaching career began. So, I feel like I am back home. I hope to have an active role in your child's educational career here at GMUE. |
